I have a 1990 CQ and with the engine on I can watch oil ooze out of the oil cap (enough that it begins to burn and smoke as it hits the hot parts) Has anyone ever experienced this? I have tried two different oil caps but will get a new one although I'm worried it is some sort of pressure problem because a friend told me the pressure should not be that high at the valve cover. Any ideas?

clogged crank/head breather system...BT<b>had</b>T on the 5kq, once rectified your filler cap will no longer leak oil ;-)

How do you unclog it?

replace the hoses or unplug the connections

...what he said ^^^ but also try replacing the cap seal (mine did the same, but not that bad)
