Do all 90's have a theft alarm
According to my owners manual all US 90's have a security alarm. It doesn't say this directly, what it does say: "USA models only" If this is true mine doesn't work. So my first question is do all 90's have an alarm system. If so why doesn't mine work! I found the fuse but it is ok, and the powerdoor lock system works. Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried this to test your alarm?
With your windows down, lock your doors with the key from the outside then open the lock and door from the inside. If your horn starts beaping, then your alarm is is working.

I know of a few B3s that only have central locking with no alarm. You might not have one.
Does your car "beep" from the trunk when you lock the doors? If they beep, you should have the alarm (which is where the alarm sounds from also).

Check to see if u have an anti-theft-system(alarm box)
Do u have a bentley manual? I do not have one with me at the moment so i cannot check to see where it is located on a B3. Check where the alarm unit is meant to be located and see if you have one. I am guessing under the rear seat.

OK I looked under the rear seat. Under there I found wires, tubes and metal box about 8" long 3" wide with lots of wires running to it. Is this the alarm unit?
