Default Does your car idle a little higher when cold?

my car was sitting for most of the day and when I started it it was idleing just above 1 grand...keep in mine it's around 20-25 degrees out...

Yes, mine does the same thing, I believe it is normal.

mine does idle higher at the start, i thought its because oil is cold

thats nothin, a lot of japanese cars idle around 2k when cold
