Fan resistor questions: Where do the wires go? (also A4 resistor?)

Where do the wires go to connect the fan resistor to the fan harness and fans.
E1,E2,E3. E1 and E2 I suspect goes to the fan harness. So Both fans Connect to E3. Is that correct?
If I use this A4 setup and only have two speeds? Do u think it will work? Please see the link to the a4 stuff.
(EDIT) I don't see why it wouldn't work. Let's say like the A4 wiring diagram I attach the low speed lead to the first resistor and I can the highspeed to the second and then connect both fan positives to the second connect too I'd have two speeds?

Hi nick (it's for my v8 swap) the smaller the better with the 8
I'm consider using the a4 setup because it looks alot smaller than the v6 setup and I don't have AC anyways. Weight saving too haha.
It's pretty tight with the 8 and any time I have the chance to shrink the size of parts I do so with the v8. 90% of the fabrication in the engine bay is figured out. I'm just being very very very overly ****, but I got the time so why not these days. Waiting on a bunch of parts... rolls eyes.
