Fog light lens question.....................

I took off my right fog light yesterday and would like to clean the lens. I looked to try to discover how to take it apart and nothing seemed evident.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

should be two screws @ the back which hold on the back-plate.

Yeah, back plate, still leaves the reflector/bulb assembly...which doesn't come out without...

...snapping/breaking something on older assemblies...

so guts from a newer B4 can be fully dismantled?

I took apart completely the fog assemblies in my car, after the glass got totally beat to hell on my drive to Northern Canada & back. All what I bought were foglight housings and I had to swap the guts from my cracked units into the new cases. Nothing needed be broke

The tabs that the reflector hinge on tend to be brittle...

...maybe that's just how Colorado (dry climate) treats them...

mebbe... but just for the record, they are *supposed* to be disassembleable

yes! I take mine apart all the time.

something like. Two screws holding fog light to bumper valance on the medial side leaving "white screw" alone. Fog light pulls forward. YOu can either 1. Disconnect the fogs light from in the bumper or then take apart the assembly by releasing the two screws on the lateral portions of the back of the assembly. The wires run thru, one ground to the light bulb plate and one positive wire to the bulb. Disconnect the wires and the front portion comes out leaving the back plate hanging on the wires. The "white screw" is the adjuster screw, unscrew that all the way and it releases the plate. The plate comes off the tabs and access to lens is there. BINGO.
