Heater issue, maybe a short?
My heater does not turn on since last winter. Ran hot when it did, so I know it does not need a heater core replacement but here's how it all started: When heater was on, each time I'd hit a bump on the road, the heater would stop working! after a few minutes it would start up again. Well now it does not start at all!
Where do I start??? The car is a 1988 B3 (90 Quattro) 2.3L, 10v Thanks! |
is it automatic climate control or manual?
|
forgive me for my ignorance, but I have to manually start the heater with the knob, if that means anything, in other words, I'm not sure how to tell the difference but my car is an 88 B3 if that helps.
Thanks! |
hmm... i dont know too much about those, but, you may just snag another one from a different car. or it maybe just a conector being lose

Update:
Found problem: I found a disconnected "connector" on blower motor. Plugged in and the heat is on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ready for winter:) |
