HELP!!!! Driver window stuck down and it's supposed to rain tonight!!!!!
I know I'm in the wrong forum but I assume our windows are similar. If not then at least someone here might be able to help. The window cable is of course fraying pretty badly. Well I haven't been using the window but today it was too hot so I "rolled" it all the way down. And now it's totally stuck and won't come back up! I unbolted the motor and tried to coax it to go back up but no go. I've been working on it for an hour now and I'm starting to panic. It's supposed to rain the next 4 days here and this is my daily driver. Any help guys?????? Thanks!!!

Plastic Bag & duct tape until the rain passes?

I would cut the cable and use small cheap vise grip pliers under the bracket on both rails.

Took a closer look at it......
The cable is frayed badly in several spots. It's frayed down at the little pulley where the cable heads straight up. It keeps jumping off the pulley anytime I attempt to move it up or down. I can only get the windown to move about an inch up and down before it just stops. I have a trashbag over it for now. Guess I'll be riding my motorcycle in the rain until I get this damned thing figured out. :(
