I have 242759 miles on my much loved Audi.. All but 49000 are mine.. It has been crazy expensive to get to this point but it's been worth it.. It's been purring one a kitten for awhile now.. Oh I should add that I'm still on original clutch..

450k miles on this one. OEM alternator changed at 325K and I've never been into the drive train. OEM clutch replaced at 125K due to abuse (e-brake burnouts).

In 2010, I sold my 1988 Audi 80. The car had over 485k miles on Its broken odometer. The registration in the glove box was 5 years out of date and from another state and it showed the same mile reading. This Audi likely had well over 500k.
The car was heavily abused, all but 1 motor mount was broken, the dash had been rewired with lamp cord and nothing worked. However, with a tune-up, and a new hose clamp on the cold start valve, it ran incredibly well.

1990 Audi 80 Quattro 10v.....212,xxx miles

Bough the car 3 weeks ago. Was running rough on the idle. Replaced distributor cap and rotor. Runs okay now but still needs work. Fuel lines need replacement, fuel filter, fluids need a flushed, no exhaust - its been cut off from the cat by previous owner.

Will be posting pics soon!

BTW - does anyone know where i can acquire an exhaust? I can only find the cat. if not i will just have to fabricate one from scratch.
