I removed my LOWER black moldings from my doors as they where coming apart and looked embarrassing! I do not want to replace the black moldings, so the question is: HOW DO I REMOVE THE PLASTIC WHITE CLIPS, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THOSE ANNOYING METAL STUDS THAT THE PLASTIC CLIPS ON TOO???

Any help would be appreciated!

What you do is take a small and thing flat head screw driver and pull up the plastic tab that holds the plastic mount to the metal stud. I think that you push down but dont quote me. Be careful when you do this because those metal studs like to break off.

I would just keep the studs on there or you can break them off and loose the ability to mount trim pieces forever.
