Can anyone recommend or know how to open the hood of Audi A4 2003 that has a broken release cable? thanking you in advance.

You could also strip the cable with some wire cutters.Then use some channel locks to pull on the wire,thus releasing it.

*sigh im having this problem now.Hood wont release.Its bound on the driver side popper.The left and middle release.But the right side wont.Ive tried pulling it at the cable.Using a long screwdriver.But it will not pop.

I got it.If the center pops.You can manually stick a screwdriver in each sides "popper".

I have an 80 quattro, I use a long about 8 inch shaft, and where the driver headlamp area is: try to slip the screwdriver with a good high power light looking in that area. So enter the screw driver in the upper left part of headlight and right below where the hood connects that is where you go, shine light to at about 45 angle up a bit and you will see a look like a figure eight of aobut 1/16 metal . You can see if when the hood is open and where the hole is from the hood connector, look in that hole a bit and you can see what it looks like. But anyway get your screw driver and the right angle to get some "push". about perpendicular to that piece and push. Helps to push down on the hood a bit and it will open about a 1/2 inch or so, and then use the middle lever like normal to open the hood. 80
