Default Ignition question

I have a question about my 94 Audi CS, I shut the ignition off the motor shuts off and I can get the key out; but the power is still on it's like it was stuck on acc. I think it's the lock cylinder but I wanted a second opinion on it because new ones are about $100.
Thanks
Mark

The ignition switch is a problem area on our cars. Just the electrical part. Use an OEM as some aftermarket are pure junk...if you go that direction. Part # 4A0905849B
