looking for a PIC of underside rear of a 91 CQ sway bar OEM attached to strut towers? I am getting a
sway bar OEM and still debating buying and welding the mounts or simply getting entire rear subframe from Force 5 with the mounts allready on it.

Yes you can, you'd need to remove the inserts from the housing and weld at low temp..
It you burn deep you'll have to grind it out on the inside to get the insert back in, so don't blast the heat too much LOL. I unfortunately don't have any pics at this time

Far from a great pic....but...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/13357/strutoff.jpg"></center><p>...you can see the link tabs on the right of the strut housing and the corresponding link still on the car. That's on a late 12/89 CQ, BTW.
