In the USA the Audi was sold as, marketed and called the "Cabriolet" a convertible built on the Audi B4 chassis.
Correctly in the rest of the world it was the type89 Audi Cabriolet..could be an Audi 80 or 90 Cabriolet model..depends on the country market and level of trim.
Audi always called it the "Cabriolet" Cabrio is a lazy way to spell it out or confusion with the VW Cabrio..
