Name this componet... Please
So I was cleaning my EGR system today and noticed a broke vacuum device. I do not know what this thing does but suspect it has something to do with my cruise control system, because it is inop.On another note I cleaned my EGR system and successfully extinguished my CEL. If you know what this is I would be grateful for the info. I can't find it on any diagram and it has no part #

The part there is a one way vacuum valve with an inlet line off the intake manifold. The backside of the vacuum one way valve is a vacuum reservoir..a big plastic pipe and a small vacuum hose going to a blue hard plastic line. That is the vacuum for the outside air recirculation flap servo behind the glove box..
Mine fell apart from age too..the plastic has a hard time there under the hood. The one way vacuum valve is integral with the lager plastic hard pipe on the Cabriolets. The solution is to remove the broken valve and splice in a new vacuum valve.
I plumbed in a 07C133529A one way eBay vacuum valve with some rubber hose..see the picture. Look around for the vacuum valve..about $10/$20..some are junk and fall apart right in the box. Be sure a get a vacuum valve with a good return policy.
