Default Odd problem, brakes applying themselves...

Still chasing an odd problem with the 90q20vt, which by the way is still for sale. After sitting for a few months the brakes seem to have developed a way to apply themselves, all four corners, when the engine bay gets exceedingly hot (after traffic on a hot day or reefing into boost repeatedly). It will vary in intensity and when the engine bay cools the issue subsides. We bled the brakes through with fresh fluid and this helped the situation, so assuming it's the master cylinder, although before hopping into that job was curious about seeing if anyone with a 90q20v or CQ had experienced this, or anyone with another model for that matter.

Thanks again,

Default Weird.

I can't see in that picture but are you still running the hydraulic booster? Could it be something to do with the bomb? I'm still unfamiliar with that system though.

Default Possible Vacuum booster leak

Ive seen that on older hondas theres a good possibility that it could be the booster. As we all know heat causes materials to expand right, if theres a crack or somthing worn out in the booster then there is a possibility that as the booster heats up from the radiant heat from the engine may cause the booster expand slightly enough to allow air into the backside of the diaphram causing the pedal to apply.

Default Hasn't proved to be even in a single instance. Most cars experiencing this have hydraulic booster

and without exception replacing MC has cured the ail every time.
