I have an oil leak. It's quite low down on the engine. I haven't had a chance to get under there yet but there is lots of room in the 4 cylinder engine bay so I can see it is below the cylinder head. What is below the cylinder head that can leak oil besides the oil sump gasket and the oil drain plug?

oil pan, crank seals, valve cover, cam seal.

I assume you need to drain the oil first.?

drain oil, unscrew like 20 bolts off it comes.

Re: Is it running down the front, side, rear?? How much oil is leakin per, say, 3000 miles?
