Problem with windows, sunroof, and all that
I went outside to start my car and it's hot as hell outside today. I tried rolling down my winows and they won't work, the power mirrors don't work, and the sunroof doesn't work. I also checked my oil and it's on mininum. Could the lack of oil cause the car to over heat, and blow a fuse for all the power?

No, you likely have a fried relay.

Only if you use non-synthetic oil! ;O)

Ignition switch perhaps?
I've had the same thing happen on my car occasionally and usually it just goes away. My guess is it's the ignition switch that's the culprit but it doesn't happen often enough to worry about. Once it cools down go out and try it again and see if the problem is still there. My guess is it will mysteriously fix itself.

Re: Problem with windows, sunroof, and all that
do the wipers, headlights, and radio work? if not it's probably the electrical portion of the ignition switch like someone else posted

Re: Problem with windows, sunroof, and all that
I just checked the car now, and AlanBDahl seems to be one the point. Now, that we messed with the car a lil, everything works, but sometimes, the climate control, windows, sunroof, doesn't work. It was pretty hot out today, I don't know if that was the problem or not. But now it's all cool down, and everything works on and off. Like it be on, and sometimes it won't. Right now, I'm just hoping nothing too bad, because I'm a broke college student.
