can someone please tell me where I can find a rear window regulator for a 1997 cabriolet convertible

Right or left? The window glass and regulator are sold as the same part which can be found on the German eBay site.


Check eBay and search internationally.

Are you sure you need a regulator? Not a motor?

Window lifter with regulator part number 8G0839729B left side and 8G0839730B right side.

Shokan is pricey but most certainly will have the parts: Shokan Coachworks, Audi parts 1-800-All-Audi

i need both left and right. Thank you for the quick reply I will definitely check out eBay. I had no luck with shokan coach works

to answer your question about the motor. Yes motor is good regulator cable and white plastic is all that's broken

Here you go..on ebay from Lithuania..right and left side..listing has a wrong part number for the left..but no matter..R+L out of a 1998 Cabriolet. In the copy on the ad they say they ship to USA..and in other spots they say they do not..write them a note..really nice and ask.

I checked and he will send to the USA..but will remove the glass from the regulators..a good idea. Total weight of both lifters + packing is about 9kg. So shipping price to US is 71.88eur.

Total cost for both with shipping just under $200 USD..not a bad deal.
