Default Sedan seats in a coupe?

Folks,
... I am considering an attempted retrofit of manual seats from a sedan into my cabrio.
Too crazy? Possibly possible?
Can parts be removed from the old seats and retrofitted to new?
Back up plan would be to just have seats that would not allow for easy back seat access... which sees very limited use anyhow.
Thoughts?
Also FWIW I was cleaning the drivers door window switch plate last nite and noticed it actually has thin rubbery coating that had become rather sticky / gummy over time.
It all came off pretty easy using some goo gone and an old credit card as a scraper. I removed the window switch buttons rather easily using a divot repair tool (that's right)and inserting it between the switch and the middle of the switch fixture and prying.
Removing this sticky rubber surface reveals a nice oem painted satin black finish that made it look so new that I did the same to the mirror adjust panel just above it.
