Default Audi 90 CS Quattro No Start

Hey all, finally got my 90 registered today and after charging the battery for a few hours, the car still will not start. I drove it no more than a week ago with no issues. I took a video of the noise the car makes when the key is turned. Hope you guys can point me in the right direction, thanks much!

i had a similar situation on my a6 few weeks ago. it was the starter motor.
I stopped for gas, and I couldn't start it again.

Default best way to eliminate starter...

can you bump start it? If so, it may be the starter....but could still be the ignition switch.

Could also be the ignition switch....common fail part.

Just another tidbit of information, when i turn the key to the on position with a jumper pack on the battery I can't turn on my radio, hazard lights, etc. This is making me think its the ignition switch, any thoughts?

Default might as well learn how to do the iggy switch

you are gonna have to do one some day.

I have a kit in my glove box with a spare switch and the 3 screwdrivers needed to do the swap.

I have had to make use of this kit once in a parking lot

you can do it without removing the wheel...just pull the cluster.

Yeah I read a DIY and seemed very simple to change. The switches aren't expensive either so I'll go ahead and order one. I'll post back in a few days to let you guys know if it fixed it. Thanks for the help fellas.

Did you get the new and improve OEM switch?
Original was white, revision is black.

Replaced both my 90 and A6 within the past year, both were cracked.
