for those that have replaced the valley pan gasket
did you see this and actually regard it? Is it really possible to end up with warped heads just by taking off the IMF?
"The intake manifold has two slanting mounting surfaces to the left and right cylinder heads. The cylinders heads can be warped by removing the manifold. If only the intake manifold is removed, or if only one cylinder head is removed, then the cylinder head bolts of the head(s) that are not removed must be tightened 1/4-turn (90)".
Now if you had raceware studs that do not stretch would this even be an issue then?

I wouldn't worry about warping heads, just be gentile when removing. When you re-install, be sure to torque the IM bolts to spec and in correct sequence.
Some speak of manifold removal and retorque causing head gasket leaks, but if they are not currently leaking, and are in good shape, that shouldn't be a problem either.

No warping issues that I can see, but, when you have the IM off closely inspect the head gaskets...
...as well as the valley pan - it can be a real oily mess under the IM. And as it was mentioned below - torque the IM bolts in the correct sequence (as per the Bentley). You should be fine! )
