Default Audis are known to need tie rod ends, common on B3/CQ/B4s...

...one of mine came off on the '95 with no problem, the other I used a gear puller to pop it out...

Default My I have alot of luck with the heat up then throw some water on it....

the rapid change from hot to cold seems to "break" the hold of the rust.

I also once could not get a tie rod off and my budy came over and said "use a candle" I looked at him like he was crazy...got a candle, heated up tie rod...melted some candle into where the threads thread into tie rod...and it screwed off...I was impresed.
