timing belt question
I have a 1997 Audi Cabriolet. Could I damage my engine by not replacing the timing belt and water pump correctly? Will I need any special tools?

I got my parts from blauparts
http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail....od=GH21111%2DA You can definitely screw things up by not having the right tools. You can rent everything from blauparts if you want or buy at least the tdc pin and the cam locking bar. http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=N1A1005 Do yourself a big favor and read the writeup on 12v.org. http://12v.org/maintenance/repairs/tbelt.php The parts kit from Blau comes with a writeup too. |
