unless its a scale certified for public tare there always is. Thats why I ALWAYS...
have them measure something of a "known weight" like me before measuring my car. Then I can interpolate any error.

Good point.
I never care so much for actual weight shown but rather try to measure (myself in this case) on a same scale so I know the difference gained/lost is acurate.
I'll have to weigh the Coupe when it rolls out of garage in few weeks. I'm curious now.
