Maybe a better question....what would one look to spend on a trans swap project?

i sold one with rear diff for 250CAD last fall...if that helps

$250-300 for trans alone. New clutch - $300. Complete job - probably ~$800 if DIY
 

you don't want shop doing it at all. Might as well find a good manual car, swap your goodies over and be done. Your trans acting up??
