What's wrong with my ACC?

My climate control has been screwed up lately... It will only blow on high speed, blowing only cool air. It won't turn off no matter what (even if you hit the off button). The only way to turn it off is pull fuse 17.

I did some research/troubleshooting, and it seems like the blower resistor is bad. Does this sound right? Or is it something else?

If anyone has done this or can help me Id really appreciate it...
Thanks in advance

Can you take a pic of the replacement resistor and post it or E-mail it to me?

Hi,

We have a '90 CQ completely torn apart in the shop right now for a full color change, and 20VT swap.

I *think* I know where the resistor you're talking about is, but if you can get me a pic (or post a link to a pic) of the resistor you're looking for I can take a look at the heater box and tell you exactly where it is.

my E-mail is: brian @ eckertmotorsport.com

take the spaces out between the @

Or just post it here,

Hope this helps,

Its always close to the blower motor...

Get to the motor, and resistor is very near-by. ;O)

RE: I got it........

According to miktip's diagram, it seems like the same part that two plugs are sticking out of (bentley manual calls this the blower control unit)

I think I know where it is now, or the general location anyways...
I'll have a look in the morning.

Thanks
