Audi A1 Rear Lights Not Working
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum, I own a 2011 manual black Audi A1 and I was wondering if someone could help me with an issue. I got hit by another car on my back bumper and shortly after that I noticed that my left rear headlights started acting weird. A few days passed and the lights stopped working, all of them from the left side. I then noticed that one of the holes and cable of part number 6Q0937702 got burned:
I bought the part and just reconnected everything. Everything worked good again but just after the first drive, all the lights went off again. Found out that it was burned again:
One of the pins of the headlight assembly itself got completely burned too:
I don't know if the car hitting my bumper was just coincidence or if that's the cause of everything. I noticed today that the insurance didn't repair the metal bar that is underneath the plastic bumper, they just repainted and that's it. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be happening? Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Thanks a lot!

yes..........open the tailgate..........lift it up and down almost if your shaking it,listen and im sure you have water inside the tailgate............remove the 2 rubber bungs under the tailgate and leave them off so water can escape.....getting a common problem this is....let me know how you get on.
