Frozen screenwash/ pump
Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could help.
I have A1, 2011.
Yesterday I noticed that my screenwash was not coming out, I’m not sure what mix it is or could just be water as I have recently bought the car. It’s -4 degrees so I just assumed it was frozen but I could still hear the pump.
However this morning (it’s now -5) I went to try them (I’ve only tried a couple of times as I read it could burn the fuse) and now I cannot hear the pump - could it be possible the whole thing has frozen or does the car cut the pump to avoid the fuse blowing?
If it is frozen does anyone know how I can defrost it? I’ve drove 25 mins to work and no change and I’ve got a long way to drive tonight so could really do with it being sorted!
Thanks for any help!
