Default A2 Production Shedule

Does anyone know when A2 production will end? I read somewhere a few months ago that it was being discontinued as of 2004 but I've since lost the source and can't seem to find any mention of it anywhere. Any help would be great, thanks

I think the SEAT replacement might be in the shape of the new Altea (above)

Default Yes, the Altea will be the follower of the A2.

But to be honest, I like the look of the A2 more.

If you were in Ingolstadt, you'd think every second car is an Audi A2...

I think, one of the main problems is, that the car is too expensive. When i look at my A2, it had cost over 25.000 euros with the 1.6 FSI engine. Much money for such a small car.

Nevertheless a nice car. I'd buy it again.

Default Re...

In London the A2 is a bit of a rarity even now. Last year the only way you'd see one was in a showroom, but it's good that way. I like to think I drive something special

The Altea might do a little better if the price is right, but if it inherits the A2 genes it'll no doubt be a good car.

I'm still waiting for a 3-door verison of the A2 That way I'd definately upgrade from my 1.4 SE to a 1.6 but at the moment, the new A3 looks like an excellent prospect.

Is the new A3 already available in the UK?

Default Yeh

They're available but there's a lengthy waiting list if you want one, especially for the 3.2 V6
