"long term" reports?
Ya, the a3 hasn't been out all that long but I know some of you really rack up the miles. Any issues with noise (rattles/squeaks/pops/cracks/buzzing) in the interior?
How about you guys coming from A4's, TT's, etc.... how are you liking the A3 quality compared to your previous audi?
Please post your miles and your thoughts on these issues or any others you feel someone who is looking at the A3 might benefit from. Good or bad.

4900 miles, still happy
...only an annoying vibrational noise that just started. Most likely a damaged tire, but I'll know for sure next week. Also wind noise in the cabin is less than great.

Car is great!!!! 9000 miles
Haven't had any problems or noise.
2 bad things worth mentioning:
1) Cabin noise from the wind while going 90+......heh heh heh
2) So smooth you don't realize how fast you're going until you see the flashing lights in your rear view mirror.

The 3.2 I just demo'd had a slight rattle.
Sounded like it was coming from the front passenger door. Only heard it when going over bumps.
Front brakes also squeked slightly only at VERY low speeds. Car only had <1000Kms on it so it may have been the fact that it pads/rotors hadn't fully meshed.
I told the dealer about both items.

Front-right.
I thought it was a nail in my tire, got it removed (from the back-left) ... but the noise remains. It is definitely a rotational/speed-based noise. No obvious physical tire damage, however.

Trans replaced when car was new. No other issues. Very slight rattle at high speeds on some pavement
surfaces. Very hard to locate and happens only rarely.
A bit more road noise than I expected even with the quieter tires (Toyo). Guess a function of bushings, window glass thickness, and open rear area.
About to hit 10K miles.
