Agreed, Bael; I've been using the Excellium LDX in my 911 racers with excellent results,...
and i've been using it in both of my A3's since new. Good stuff, excellent specs for aircooled and turbo applications.

that happened to me and it has been a pain in the *** ever since
took the car in a 10k to have them reset it but they had to leave it at 5k interval so it would poop up at 15k. 15k service they forgot to change it again, same at 25k although different dealer. 35 is almost due and i am going to leave a sticky note in the cluster to remind them

Dealerships use the 5W-40 weight Castrol which is made in the USA. They've actually stopped..
importing the Belgian 5W-40. Most dealerships only use the 5W-40 weight no matter what oil they use. This is the most prevalent 502 approved weight in synthetics. My dealer uses Agip PC which is an OK oil. The latest Castrol 5W-40 says "made from doemstic and imported" materials and mixed in the US. I bring the dealer my own oil and ask them for the empties.

I just had the oil changed on my 2009 Boxster S at the Porsche dealer. I didn't enquire about the cost. The car was in for a few hours so I waited. Total cost was in excess of $400. Yes it was synthetic. Was that expensive? Yes. Was she worth it? Yes. My 07 GTI has 260,000 km on it. I change the oil every 16,000 km. That car drives like it is new. No need to change your oil every 5,000 km. I do need to check the oil level about every two weeks as the car drinks oil like a fat kid chugging on Coca Cola.
