2014 Audi A3 8V trunk won't open with button under trunk lid

2014 Audi A3 8V trunk won't open with button under trunk lid
Hi all.
I own a 2014 A3 Limousine 1.6 TDI (110hp).
I was wondering if anyone had trouble with the trunk button under the trunk lid.
Mine isn't working but if I press (long) the advance key button the trunk pop's open. I'm thinking it could be:
1. The button itself is damaged and/or;
2. Electrical cable broken and/or;
3. The connector(s) and/or;
4. Issues with the key/car electronics.
Does someone had this issue? Any DYI videos around on how to disassemble and troubleshoot the trunk?
