A3 sighting in US?
I was at lunch today and saw a red A3 with Maryland plates (I'm in Pennsylvania). Really fine looking car, but are these even in the States yet? Or are there even plans to bring them in? BTW, this was a 3-door.

All I know...
...which is next to nothing... is that a 4 door Avant variant is likely to show up in the States in about a year. But it won't be called an Avant. Maybe someone can post a pic of the 4 dr? I haven't read or heard of any plans to bring in the 2 dr hatchback.

Re: Pic of possible look to 5-door more later
The 5 door looks quite like an estate car in this picture-surely its starting to encroach on A4 estate territory???? Or is it meant to be a hybrid hatch/estate just like the Impreza???

Re: Pic of possible look to 5-door more later
From what I've read the A3 will come to the U.S., but in 5-door form only (I think Audi considers it to be more of a hatch than a wagon).
