Common A3 problems?
I’m looking to purchase a used AWD Audi— preliminary research suggests the A3 (Quattro?) is reliable and nice.
My price point is not to exceed 12k. Which years are the most problematic for the A3? And what, from those years, is most problematic? Are those things that are typically checked in a pre-purchase inspection?
I heard that there were engine problems with the 2009-2010 models but that the 2011 model uses a different engine. Is that true? Are the 2009-2010 engine problems recalcitrant enough to warrant staying away from them altogether?
