I have a question. I have a 2009 A4 cabriolet, which seems to still fall under the 2.0t fsi engine. Do I need to worry about my cam follower?

Yes! Any 2.0T FSI engine has a cam follower that needs to be serviced regularly to avoid costly internal engine damage.
