today I have read my Audi A3 1.6 FSI on fault codes, when I start the car, the engine makes low revs and it sounds like the engine wants to stop and after a few seconds the engine makes it normal rpm. I received the error code P0016 Crankshaft Positioning Sensor (CMP) Bank-1 (G40) / Camshaft Position Sensor (G28). Where can I find the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor (CMP) Bank-1 (G40) and the Camshaft Position Sensor (G28) on the 1.6 FSI engine?

Have you had this topic answered? I have the very same question with regards to locating the camshaft sensor.
I'm new to the forum and would like to know if anyone can help me.
I've a 2012 audi a3 1.6 desil my girlfriend was driving and the car went into limp mode whilst on the motorway. The car will turn over but struggling to start.
Previously had the erg changed about 2 years ago after a similar incident.
Im thinking now its likely to be the cam shaft sensor. Can anyone show me a diagram where this is located so I can change it. Cant seem to find any accurate diagram.
