Default Now I'm getting excited..

I've just been told that I can pick my brand new, shiny, perfect (but not for long being black) S3 NEXT Saturday from my dealer in Holland.

I can't wait!

Has anybody else travelled back using Hoverspeed from Ostend? I think it's about 150-170 miles from Amsterdam.

Also, anybody out there with a black car - Is it as hard to clean as I have been told? Everybody I know who has owned a black car says "NEVER AGAIN!"

Thanks,

GAZ.

get the paintwork treated with 'amazing glaze'.it protects the paintwork, gives it a beautiful shine and it makes the car easier to clean.top airlines like british airways and quantas use it on their aircraft.they calculated a 1 percent saving in fuel which for an airline is alot of money.if anyone wants the number then post a reply.

Another company to try is Wax Wizard. I bought a starter pack for my new car and even on a week old car it was unbelivable. Not cheap, but the best Ive tried. Know lots of people that swear by it now. Makes your car smell nice as well !.

http://www.waxwizard.com/

Good for people in the UK.

My A3 is ebony black (it's only a std 1.8 so I'm v'jealous), I've always used Autoglym resin polish and been really happy with the results, then someone suggested I use their finishing polish after using the regular resin stuff. It's a bit like very watery glass polish, so a little goes a long way, you have to let it dry properly which takes about 30 minutes !! but when you buff it up it feels so smooth and is sooooo shiny !!.
It's true black cars are a nightmare to keep clean but at least using this stuff you don't get those horrible polish circles when the sun shines on it, and it makes washing the car very easy as the dirt just doesn't stick to it.
Anyway good luck with your collection, the A3 really is a superb car. ENJOY !!
