Options & specs question... Xenons & Convenience?
 

On the Audiusa.com BYO A3 site, if you add the xenons it doesn't let you add the convenience package. What's up with that?

I'd rather have xenons that the other stuff, but I still want the trip computer.

Package combining was not allowed in 2006... 2007 a special 2.0T S-Line version...
 

will replace sport package, adding adaptive bi-Xenons... However, I would like to mention that 4 cars have reportedly slipped through the 2006 order process in the US; with the options you seek... Proudly, I am one of these owners... and just added the S-Line badges to complete the picture...

Me too. I've got one of the manuals that slipped through. Heard there were a total of 11, 4 manual.

I suppose adding the trip computer after delivery would be either cost-prohibitive or..

Possible but not practical...
 

Example: Factory BT $300. Retrofit using all OEM parts $800...

That's right TT... I forgot about you... We both have one of the rare manuals...
 

You should get the S-line badges from Vagparts.com I did... They give that little added touch... Since we have all the packages why not flawnt it?

I use the trip computer in my A4 constantly. I suppose I could just obsess about the Nav+ in the new car instead.

It's just silly to think that because I want xenons, I can't have a trip computer & bluetooth. If anything, you'd think someone who wanted one of those might well want the other.

Bi-Xenons are not part of 2007 2.0T S-Line; must get Technology.

Technicalities BUT your right.. It's the Technology Pkg... My apologies
 

2007 A3 Model Line:

The A3 2.0T will now have an S line Package which replaces the Sport Package from 2006. Equipment content is the same, but the new S line package also receives more aggressive front and rear fascias, and S line badging on the exterior. The A3 also has a new Technology Package. The Sound Package has been renamed the Audio Package. Sirius Satellite Radio is added to the package for 2007.

· Audi Phone Preparation with Bluetooth

· Auto-dimming interior mirror

· Bi-Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System
