That's a great looking A3! Can't wait to see pics of it lowered.

Now keep in mind I'm coming from an S4 suspension background, but I'm personally leaning toward Vogtlands (undecided on adjustable or not). Also, a couple reviews on here are swaying me that way too.

I'm going with the KW V2. Just waiting for a xmas sale. (3.2Q Owner)

The verdict is in the KW V2's are ordered. I'll have installation pics cause I'm doing it myself.

Is that an 8.5" rim? What offset?

scotchy 11-15-2006 10:31 PM

Looked it up..et 50..perfect...you shouldn't have any rubbing issues

even if you go really low (as long as you remove fender screws)

Your car will look 79% better once lowered...enjoy!

I am fully hyped on my KW V2 set-up. No problems at all!

5stargeneral 11-16-2006 11:56 AM

do the 235 poke out at all, hard to tell from the pics?

jefex 11-16-2006 01:28 PM

19by 8.5 I think it was a 40 offset but not sure. They drive perfect. No rubbing.

They feel soo nice I don't know why people bother with 18's. They also tuck in nice. I've seen some a3's with wheels with wide offsets that make them look like they should have gold wire datons with hydros and fuzzy pink dice hanging off the mirror. Whats up with that? They don't see that their wheels ares ticking out that far?

jefex 11-16-2006 01:30 PM

Nope they fit perfect. When I lower it they will tuck in nice.
