Rough idle - Audi A3 8P Facelift 2010 2.0 TDI
Hi guys, I am new around here and I came here in need of help, because I can't figure out what is wrong with my car. Maybe someone around here had the same problem and found a way to fix it.
I have an Audi A3 Sportback 8P Facelift S-line 2.0 TDI DSG 6, code engine CBAB and 110k km. I am hopping the km are real, I am not the first owner.
On idle the engine sometimes sounds like its working only in 3 pistons.
When I drive it everything seems fine, the car has power. When it's not in motion, at a stop light for example, I can feel that the engine doesn't work properly. I feel it how it vibrates and if I open the door it makes a sound. Sometimes the engine moves like it wants to run out of the car.
I used the VCDS to see the injector values and they seem fine, the correction is always under +/-0.8. Only the fuel pressure fluctuates when the car is in idle, don't know if it should be like that.
The fuel in the fuel filter looks crystal clear and I don't have any misfires displayed in VCDS.
When the engine is cold it seems to work fine, after some hours of driving it starts to go crazy but not every time.
I recently changed the flywheel, the turbo actuator and the distribution kit with belt and water pump. I guess I had this issue before changing the flywheel (I hope I didn't name it wrong) and the other parts.
Could the problem be from one of the injectors or from the fuel pump? Or could be another thing that I left out.
