Hello guys,

Today I installed a hitch on my new to me 2007 A3 Quattro 3.2 S-Line. I've got it for 3 weeks and love the car so far!

When I removed the tail lights to undo the rear bumper I realised there was a lot of water in them. But the tail lights were fully working before my hitch install. I am now re-sealing them.

I also installed a Hopkins module to install a trailer light plug. However this part went wrong. I now have no more rear left turn signal and one of the rear right corner light bulb is not lighting.

At this point I unplugged my trailer module (undid all the tap in connectors) thinking it was the issue and still the same.

It is not the bulbs or connections in the tail light because I tried new bulbs and probed with a multimeter directly at the tail light connectors and I am getting 0.02V constant on the left turn signal wire and 0.04V at the right tail light wire which is not working.

On the 4-way the rear left turn signal also doesn't work.

Can you help me where to look at??
