Audi displayed some of their new electronics. Amongst the LED headlights and flexible LED strip lighting was a hide-away 2.5" LCD display mounted inside the all familiar slide-out coin tray. Way cool. It looks like they were using it for NAV but I would love to have it for video.

It was posted before on navplus.us - it's really cool and a neat idea, but it's sooo small = useless

I flipped when I saw that too. I doubt we'll have a chance to buy it from Audi any time soon.

Pop-up ipod dock?
 

I had an idea some time ago, for a docking connector &amp; pop-up cradle for your ipod.. Just push it in to hide it, pull out to use.
It might be better if it autimatically swivelled to face the driver as well..

I'd like it if it auto-scrolled through a collection of M-Daddy's signature pix...
 

...but then, I'd really need my Quattro, for all the unexpected off-roading I'd be doing.
