Waiting list, peaple for gas.new sensor.Tec.article only for electricians.
The resistance low level tank is 70 ohmios.
hight level tank 270 OHMS..

To remove the sensor first remove the gas pump,
inside the gas tank,very difficult!!!
I suspect the PLASTIC potenciometer sensor was attack by gasoline ,gases .Normally, during full to 1/2 tank (normaly 70-170 ohms.) is mesauring always 70~ ohms because in half distance is shorted,later the needle goes down.
TWO YEARS A3 car ,2003 and from the 1999 still the same problems,diverter valves, MFair controllers,etc.
Good car ,but to much sensible for corrosive gasoline ,exhaust gases,salt on the road,etc.
Boring taking again about gasoline!
