2015 A3 Sedan Dynamic Taillight Help

Hello all! I'm new to this forum, and have been looking around for information on retrofitting a pre-facelift 2015 A3 sedan to the facelift/dynamic tail lights. I've come across a lot of information, but nothing seems to be setting me on the right track.

Here's what I have:
  • LED Dynamic Tail Light Assemblies
  • VCDS Cable
  • Connector re-pinning tools
So far, I've installed the outer tail light assemblies, as they fit snug with the connector already on the car. The tail light/turn signal light are operating together, and I've been told you have to code that to be separate? Other than that, it seems like the outer assemblies fit right on and seem to work without re-pinning.

The inner assemblies are another story. The connectors have different pin arrangements. Is it as simple as re-pinning the connector, or is there also coding to be done for the inner assemblies?

If anyone could point me in the right direction (adapters, spreadsheets, coding examples) or help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

Alright, I repinned the inner light connectors, and the lights are functioning. Next is trying to find a resource for coding the separation of the turn signals and brakes.

Done! Rewired and re-coded. :D

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean you just plug it in and it works? Because if so, no. The connectors had to be repinned on the vehicle and there was coding work as well.

Thanks.
I didn't really receive any help on repinning the connectors, I have some experience in electrical engineering and employed very basic practices to identify the correct pins to modify, once I had the time to really look over the whole ordeal.

The coding was switching the tail-lights from american to european.

Thank you for the answer.
