Default 2018 RS3 Rear View Mirror, Programming?

Hello,

Does the 2018 RS3 rear view mirror have the programming capability to program my garage opener on the button? I know the one button turns the compass on and off, but it also shows numbers, 1 through 12. What are those numbers for?

Thank You,

-Eddie

So the numbers on the rear view mirror are magnetic zones on the planet, so once you set the zone you live in your compass will be displaying the correct direction.

No a3/s3/rs3 has the homelink built into the rear view mirror (that I know of) There is a port installed option for HomeLink... but they cut a hole in the headliner to install it.
Some have installed that same homelink aftermarket and it looks pretty clean.

But, there was this guy that hooked up his garage door remote to one of the blank switches on the dash.

I am considering doing this. Seems like a fun project.
