2018 S3/A3/RS3 Squeaky sunroof?
So whenever I get even a little body twist (pulling out of a driveway on an angle) the sunroof creaks slightly - and of course I envision it getting louder and more pronounced as time moves forward.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, it is a common re-occurrence. Lubricating the seal/rubber definitely helps. You can try either silicone spray or gummi pledge.

Yea, it is worth trying first. If it doesn't help, then the service guys should be able to help. I brought mine in last year when the noise was no longer fixed with lube (something eventually shifted after 3 years of ownership) and they did some adjustments and the noise went away.

Yup, had this issue on my 2017 S3 and it gets worse with time.....Dealer fixed it with felt inserts and no further issues after 3 months. Audi have a TSB on this issue. Felt inserts first, if that does not fix it. The sunroof has to be removed and refitted. The big issue for the mechanic is making the adjustments to the rear closing height so no wind noise is present at higher speeds. Not a quick fix the mechanic fiddled with mine for about 3 hours to get it right.

Yes, it seems to be a common issue. One more reason to wish for a "sunroof delete" option on the build sheet! That being said, I don't actually hate the principal of sunroofs it's just that the execution often falls a little bit short. The only creak I have on my Lexus GX is from the darn sunroof (and it's intermittent at that) but I've also owned cars where they were completely silent. As long as Audi is aware of the problem and steps up to fix it then that's the best we can hope for at this point.
