Same for the way it allows you to select the other options.
Cathy really likes the Golf R and I think it will remain with us for a great many years.
There is really no reason to want to trade it for something else as it does everything so well.

Hi Tom -
Good to have another San Antonian!
I ordered early November so I've been waiting quite awhile.
I am part of the owner in waiting program but I also get updates from a fellow at Audi corporate.
Which dealership did you order from? I went with Audi South Austin.
Would love to meet up after. Cars and coffee?

Thanks for info.
I ordered my RS3 from Audi North Park as it is only about a 12-minute drive from my house and they had just gotten another allocation.
I hope I can be as patient as you have been as I have never had to wait so long for a new car.
No worries really as the Golf R is fun to drive.
Yes, I would love to meet up for a Cars and Coffee once we have the cars.
Ha, two Nardo Greys parked next to each other should get some attention.
Cheers for now,
Tom

Pretty frustrated as my build keeps getting moved back. I was assigned a build week of 1519 (this week)... since then it was moved back to end of April, and now my most recent updated early May. Really wish I knew what Audi's process was... I ordered back early November and I have several folks that ordered in January and their cars are already built.
Anyone else experiencing this?
On a positive news front, the hold on our cars is gone, so when your car hits the port, it shouldn't be too long before it is released to carrier.

Well here is what's actually going on with me and my ordered RS3.
I have had recent conversation as well as text from the G/M at Audi Nashville.
The bottom-line to me seems to be the dates for anything to do with the RS3's changes and I highly doubt that any Audi Dealership knows why.
So, buddy, here is what I have decided to do .............
I'm not contacting my guy at local Audi Dealership and when the doggone RS3 arrives, it arrives and this fellow is not going to worry about it.
That's not an easy thing to do for some of us but for me it's the easiest way to handle it for me to stay & remain Calm.
As you know from my signature mine was already suppose to be on a ship heading to a port in the USA.
As you can see that might or might not be the case ................

Well my man it goes like this for me.
June 2019 I'll be 74 years young at heart anyway.
That being a fact leads me to answering you.
This incoming RS3 will more than likely be my last High-Performance-Sedan.
Thankfully I'm I guess what most people would consider at this time in excellent health overall.
But ............
Just saying like I think it really is, time is now not on my side and more than likely I'm on the far-side of my life span IMHO.
Especially for cars like the RS3 ...........
Oh, I should mention I have been into the car thing since returning from Cu-Chi Vietnam back in 1966.
That's when I actually got going into cars.
I have never-ever really stopped but through all the years I have on occasions slowed down as monies were not available.
Generally speaking I'm what some of my Car Dealerships sales guys referred as a Car-*****. LOL !!!
I was and still am just one of those guys that loves cars, well Fast cars actually.
Hang-Tough buddy,
Terry
