Hey all I was just wondering if anyone had ever experienced your Audi service department using Audi Cam to show you what the technician was working on during the service call. Took one of my cars in to my local dealer for a regular service and was pleasantly surprised at this neat new feature, at least new at my dealer. They text you a link to a video clip the tech produces going over the work step-by-step and describing what he/she observed and what they recommend, etc (i.e. showing brake pad measurement with caliper tool). I thought this was very clever and wish they had been doing this from a long time ago. Not sure if this is commonplace at all dealers or not but I really like it.

I just had my summer wheels put on today (i store them with Audi because i have no room for them) and the tech sent me a video of him stowing my winter lug caps in the trunk and telling me he was going to test it then run it through the wash. Really great idea, the video notes. My svc rep said they've been doing it in St. Paul for a month so new here.

Nice. Yeah my service rep told me they started this service a couple of months ago.
