Default Clearing Inspection Due Message

The S3 hit 14,900 miles and today I changed the engine oil. The Change Oil Due service message was easy to clear using the MMI but I still have a Inspection Due 100 mi message that I cannot see how to clear.

Anyone know how to clear that one?

Thank you !

I reset those warnings on my cars with the VCDS interface.

I'm in the high 13,000s right now.

I look forward to getting mine so I can try out a different Audi loaner when they service it.

Is there any VCDS software or interface tools that are better than others?

Do you have to use VCDS or is there another way? I'm having the same problem. I was wondering if I could just take it to the dealer and get them to reset it.

Seems stupid to have to buy something to clear an "inspection due" notice. I always do all of my own work on my cars. I come from a family of mechanics. I've been doing it since 1978. I don't need the dealer to charge me an outrageous fee to "check stuff". I'll call the dealer and see what they say first about clearing the annoying notice. Thanks.

Did you ever get the "INSPECTION DUE" display/BEEP BEEP cleared?

Like you I ALWAYS since 1968 do my own maintenance (timing belts) and light repair (timing chain).

I see where a free (till you use it) app from Carista and a OBDII adapter might turn it off.

I have a Q7 and called the dealership yesterday to see how to clear this “inspection due” message. Was told I have to bring it in and they charge $29.99 to clear it. I don’t want to pay them for that! Anyway around this??
