Default Dealing with low gear "kicks" with S-Tronic

Anyone have any tips to prevent the low gears (1 or 2) becoming super sensitive to your throttle? Especially in a traffic situations at low speeds, stop and go, touching the gas pedal often jerks the vehicle forward suddenly. I know the crawling has always been a challenge with the DSG but wondering if there's anything I can do to mitigate it?

I've noticed sport mode is a lot more twitchy vs drive. When I'm stuck in traffic I usually have it in 'D' and use ACC quite a bit, otherwise just light on the throttle...

Yes Sport mode is definitely more twitchy in traffic. I'm glad you guys posted about this, I noticed it for the first time a few weeks ago in traffic and thought there was a problem with my A3. I don't really like the twitch but atleast I know this is common now.

ECU tunes should address your issues with the turbo lag. If you're worried about getting TD1 by audi. Im not 100% sure if the piggybacks resolve this issue.

Switching to Dynamic will also put the transmission in Sport mode. Comfort will change it back to Drive also. Changes the resistance while steering too!

Errrr why be in sport/dynamic mode when you are sitting in traffic? To me dynamic is so aggressive with the shift points that it's useless if you aren't out on an opeN road. The higher idle is what makes it touchy in slow traffic I think.

Yup, steering in dynamic and engine in comfort, to help smooth out the jerkiness while still giving me the handling I like.

90% of the time: I'm in Individual, all in sport settings but sus, steering and throttle

Traffic: Comfort

M3 goes by: Dynamic

(and yes, I usually take 'em)
